I've downloaded some movies from the prelinger archive in mpeg4 format. Windows Media Player, Real Player One and Quicktime cannot play them. What's wrong? The players have all updates...!

Thanks for tipps!

Greetings
André

MY Windows Media Player 9.0 on XP plays MPEG4 files just fine. I did need to download an update before they would play.

I am also stumped - the latest Quicktime should solve your problems. What OS are you using, and have any players overwritten your file associations, so the movies don't really load in Quicktime?
